Job DescriptionGlobal English Centre (GEC) is an English Language School currently looking for an additional member to add to our administrative staff. Applicant must be energetic, flexible, detail oriented, dependable, patient and possess a high level of multi-tasking skills. Uses appropriate knowledge, common sense and skills to maintain correspondence and general workflow. The candidate will support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the Company and will have a significant role in implementing policies, systems, and procedures. The Employee will support the Company culture, based on our core values and ensure that our students succeed to their maximum potential.Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as a primary contact for all communication via the phone and email
  • Warmly greet all visitors and direct them to the appropriate place or person
  • Manage daily attendance systems and reports while support GEC teaching staff to complete monthly attendance reports
  • Manage class planning schedules
  • Support the collection, dispersal, security, and organisation of all student cumulative record files
  • Provide administrative support to the Centre Director, teaching staff, administrative team, and students
  • Attend to sick and injured students
  • Update students with information as needed
  • Assist in the opening and closing of the Company
  • Administer IELTS/TOEFL Examinations on behalf of the Company
  • Writes letters, memos and other correspondence as requested
  • Additional duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM certification
  • 2+ years of experience working in a corporate office work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel, with strong-level knowledge of email use
  • Proficient in Google sheets Office/Excel
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
  • Excellent writing, spelling and grammatical skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English (Compulsory)
Remuneration:
  • Salary Range: RM1500 - RM2000
