About the Role: As Finance Intern, you will be reporting to Assistant Finance Manager, supporting the company through general accounting responsibilities as well as full participation in the month-end close processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability and other special projects as assigned. What Will You Do Hands on in day-to-day accounting operations from Accounts Payable (entering invoices, payments & payments preparation), verify staff claims, maintaining fixed assets register, month-end closing entries, weekly cash flow management & etc. Ensure all transactions and intercompany billings are accurately accounted for and confirmed every month. Identify and follow up any un-reconciled items. Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled. Daily administration of managing authorized forms, obtaining signatures on letters from all entities, and handling the couriering of documents. Responsible for local tax compliance and reporting requirements - including timely e-filing of tax return (SST), annual tax on income, tax payments and transfer pricing documentation. Proper filing of all the accounting documents. Provide support and coordination for finance/accounting system implementation, clean-up and enhancement projects Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time as directed by superiors.
