An organisation is searching for a Section Head within Manufacturing, please see some of their job details below. Job Overview : To supervise and coach manufacturing team to meet department goal in term of on time delivery, productivity, quality, cycle time, cost & wastage etc. Roles & Responsibilities : Manage WIP accuracy & lead manufacturing team to meet production output and revenue target. Plan and manage resource (equipment, material, manpower, etc.) required and available to meet production schedules. Review and execute daily production schedule to ensure production is on schedule according to priority. Ensure the production is on schedule to meeting OTD. Plan and execute recovery plan whenever necessary. Ensure the production wastage and scraps is under control within healthy limit. Ensure the production is always in excellent 5S and safety. Initiate action immediately if there is any deviation from the procedure. Liaise with other functional department such as Engineering, QA, Facility, IE & trainer to overcome production obstacles and improve production performance. Supervise, motivate and provide guidance to manufacturing team to ensure the team is in high efficiency and morale. Ensure manufacturing team is running production according to procedure and WI without any violation. Investigate and take necessary action to any violation and misconduct happen within team member under supervision according to company policies and procedure. React and provide solution to minor employee complaints in accordance to company policies and recommend course of action. Adhere to all safety procedure, ESD requirements and housekeeping standards. Measuring and appraising subordinate performance through periodic performance review. Initiate and taking part in manufacturing improvement project especially on cost saving, productivity and quality improvement related projects. Ensure department KPI related to area in-charge is always in high standard. Qualification & Experience : Degree in related field or discipline with minimum 3 years' experience in managing executive staff and production supervisor. Preferably with experience working in fast pace Semiconductor or Electronic industry. Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing (Wirebond or Die Attach) is added advantage. #JPKR #JPKR
