About our client:
Our Client operates in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Switzerland. It has its branches spread to more than 29 countries, providing employment to more than 2,000 people all over the world. Their core business is to develop and manufacture Vacuum Valves and other products related to it.Responsibilities:
  • Organizational Design & Development: Challenges the organizational structure, proposes improvements and ensures smooth organizational transitions using best practice change management methodologies.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Ensures Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals.
  • Lead talent review/calibration to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed.
  • Support in implementation of succession planning / talent management plans that support business goals.
  • Ensure People Managers use tools effectively to assist individual and team performance improvement at all levels.
  • Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned to the business objectives and HR initiatives.
  • Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation.
  • Forming strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment.
  • Be responsible for all HR management and development (including recruitment and selection, policy/guidelines, discipline, grievance, mentoring, training and development, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and any other HR related issues)
  • Lead the work to regularly review the company's talent management processes within the business areas, including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession planning
  • Where necessary, work on projects to aid continuous improvement and implement improvements (e.g. changes to guidelines, continuous improvement projects).
  • Engagement & Leadership Development: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and their managers through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation.
  • Promote and foster a culture and environment that supports productivity, empowerment, feedback and recognition.
  • Coach managers as a performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in people management.
  • Enable others to behave and make decisions in line with the Company Passions.
  • Collaboration within HR : Collaborate within local and global teams to ensure initiatives and projects are designed and implemented that enhance the HR contribution to the business.
  • Support the build-up of infrastructure in your region/country in line with business needs
  • Employee Relations and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA): Connect with all level of employees to understand the concerns and issues faced at the grassroots level; Manage the employee relations issue including ensuring compliance to labor regulations, RBA and adherence to the company policies and guidelines.

  • Strong C&B and HR Operations experience is a plus
  • With at least 7-10 years of related experience in manufacturing industry with proven track record
  • Self-motivated and able to drive client groups to achieve deliverables
