Company Description La Fruta Food Industries Sdn Bhd Role Description As the Head of Department for Operations and Inventory at La Fruta Food Industries, I am responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the warehouse and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and stock. My role includes managing purchase orders for raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure production runs efficiently. I lead and coordinate a warehouse team, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. I also support forklift operations during loading and unloading whenever necessary. Part of my responsibilities involves monitoring stock levels, planning material replenishments, and implementing backup strategies to manage any logistics or operational disruptions. I ensure all procedures comply with internal SOPs and food safety standards. Qualifications Over 10 years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and materials planning Skilled in handling Purchase Orders for raw materials and packaging Team leadership and staff supervision experience Hands-on knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse logistics Proficient in stock monitoring, loading/unloading coordination, and backup planning Familiar with food manufacturing environment and compliance with SOPs Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills Show more Show less
