Role Summary We're looking for a Business Analyst Intern to support our product, design, and engineering teams on real client projects. You'll learn how requirements become shipped features - working hands-on with senior BAs/PMs in an agile environment. Location: Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur Duration: 3-6 months (flexible) Schedule: Full-time (Mon-Fri) Compensation: Monthly internship allowance What You'll Do Support requirements activities: sit in on stakeholder sessions, capture notes, extract action items, and help shape problem statements and success metrics. Documentation & artefacts: draft and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, simple BRDs/FRDs, change logs, and RAID logs under guidance. Backlog hygiene: help organise product backlogs, refine tickets, and prepare sprint boards (ClickUp). Process & journey mapping: create basic flowcharts, logic flows, and user journey maps (Miro/FigJam). Discovery & research: perform light competitor/benchmark research and synthesise insights for the team. UAT support: draft test cases, execute tests, log defects, and follow up on fixes; help coordinate user feedback. Design collaboration: work with UX to annotate wireframes/prototypes (Figma) and ensure requirements are traceable to designs. Engineering collaboration: clarify requirements, read simple API/Swagger docs, and keep a data dictionary/current state notes. Reporting: prepare project status updates, minutes, and client-ready slides. Quality & compliance: help ensure documentation consistency and basic data-protection hygiene (e.g., PDPA awareness). What You'll Learn BA best practices (from discovery stories UAT). Writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases. Translating business goals into product requirements and delivery plans. Exposure to CMS (e.g., Umbraco/AEM/Sitecore), cloud & AI-powered projects, and API-driven integrations. Practical tools: ClickUp, Figma, Miro, Swagger/Postman, Excel/PowerPoint. Requirements (Must-Haves) Final-year student or recent grad in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/IT, Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical thinking, note-taking, and structured writing skills. Clear communicator (spoken and written English); collaborative and curious. Comfortable with spreadsheets and presentation tools; meticulous attention to detail. Available at least 12 consecutive weeks; based in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
