About the Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator with a specialization in Exadata to join our dynamic team.In line with team objectives, policies and procedures, to advise, lead, control and follow through design, development of specifications, coding, testing and maintenance of high quality application software, tools and development projects.What to expect?The following are dailies responsibilities for the role:

Exadata Administration:
Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata & Exadata Cloud@Customer environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
Perform routine system monitoring, fix, and performance tuning on Exadata systems.
Database Management:
Administer Oracle databases in a high-availability environment.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Exadata databases.
Conduct regular database health checks and implement proactive measures.
Performance Optimization:
Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance on Exadata.
Collaborate with application development teams to optimize database design and query performance.
Patch Management:
Plan and implement Oracle Database and Exadata patching and upgrades.
Ensure latest awareness of the latest Oracle Exadata releases and features.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies and access controls for Exadata databases.
Ensure databases align with industry standards and regulations.
Automation and Scripting:
Seeing opportunities for toil elimination and maintaining continuous improvement mentality.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database tasks and monitoring.
Implement and improve processes for database deployment and configuration.
Collaboration:
Work closely with multi-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of Exadata database administration.

What will make you successful?Essential Technical Experience

Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle DBA. Preferably 19c version.
Replication of database using DataGuard
Has good experience with Ansible and Terraform
Problem solving attitude towards technical issues
Oracle RAC (real application cluster) and Exadata

Ideal Candidate Profile

At least 5 years of experience in Oracle database management.
Preferably candidates with university degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Takes accountability and ownership on work and initiatives.
Demonstrates operational excellence.
Knowledge seeker attitude.
Good business process savvy
Collaborative attitude in team environment.
Effective communication skills.
