Responsibilities:- Oversee executives' collection of a daily basis of the equity analyst report and summary of Bursa announcements. Assist in the collection of information too, where necessary Disseminate the above reports and information to the department on a daily basis Circulate on timely basis to the department latest relevant news of Newfield's existing clients and target clients Oversee a database for M&A and Fundraising transactions based on a prescribed format Work with the team to build a database for a standard presentation format Update and maintain the database of latest rules and regulations in the capital markets including from the Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia and share the latest updates to the team on a timely basis Summarise the latest rules and regulations into simplified flowcharts or tabulation, where necessary Collect other relevant reports such as rating agency reports and others to share with the department Oversee on the preparation, co-ordination and filing of the engagement mandates, non-disclosure agreements, document request checklist, due diligence checklist, ad-hoc correspondences with the regulatory authorities Assist seniors with research and updates for purpose of preparation of pitchbook or presentation materials including video presentations. This will include using of Bloomberg terminal to source for information Request and co-ordination to issue invoices upon completion of Newfields mandated transactions and following up (with the seniors and finance department of the clients) until fees are successfully collected Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to the Executive by his superiors from time to time. Requirements:- Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance or professional qualification ACCA / CPA / MICPA or equivalent or relevant experience from the industry At least 3 years of working experience in related field especially financial advisory, corporate finance. Good Knowledge of the capital markets, securities law and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities. Experienced in the area of mergers and acquisitions, listing, securities issues and corporate finance transactions Strong knowledge of compliance rules Strong technical knowledge of accounting rules / consolidation / problem solving skills Good command of English both written and spoken Able to work independently Show more Show less
