Summary As an Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Process , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers. A key part of your role involves managing the entire Engineering Change (EC) process, ensuring seamless implementation of changes from customers and internal teams. Detailed Description Responsibilities Engineering Change Management: Assist the Manager in coordinating daily EC tasks using internal systems like Citrix, Matrix, SAP, and ODC, as well as customer-specific platforms like MY LAM and Gmox. Performance Monitoring: Maintain monthly ECO (Engineering Change Order) KPIs and track weekly EC release data. Coordination and Implementation: Participate in the weekly ECN (Engineering Change Notification) call for the Johor site, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure the proper implementation of all internal and external ECNs. Change Impact Analysis: Monitor all phases of ECN implementation, from receiving customer requests to validating change impacts, confirming requirements with all functional teams, and securing approvals before implementation. Data Management: Manage the customer's Approved Manufacturer List (AML) and ensure its accuracy in SAP. Detailed Description 1 Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: Change Analysis : Analyze customer change requests from Matrix ECs to determine their impact on the site. Disposition and Monitoring : Decide the disposition for released ECs based on customer changes and monitor the successful system update of Halb and Fert items. System and Data Maintenance : Maintain input placement for all planning assembly releases based on the Manufacturing Engineer's decisions. Chair weekly customer ECO meetings. Bridge Matrix ECs in SAP based on depletion dates determined in EC meetings. Verify the completeness and accuracy of EC bridging to SAP and check for any I-Doc errors. Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) routing and component allocation in SAP. Refresh routing for all MIP (Manufacturing Information Package) releases. Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, liaising with IT Support for any BOM-related problems. Process Improvement : Study and support new project enhancements such as EC EtQ, Auto Sort string, and Auto processes. ECN Processing : Process all internal and external ECN requests, coordinating activities with the Work Cell staff. SAP Updates : Update SAP for BOMs, AVL (Approved Vendor List), new part numbers, and drawings. Accuracy and Timing : Maintain 100% BOM accuracy and manage effective dates for BOMs in SAP in conjunction with the planning team. Meeting Coordination : Coordinate weekly CCB (Change Control Board) meetings with the PDX site and daily CCB meetings with the internal team. Additional Duties : Comply with any additional assignments from your supervisor. Typical Experience & Education Experience: Entry-level to 1 year of experience, Junior position.
