Evaluate and qualify new equipment and materials (direct and indirect), including builds at subcontractors. Assist technicians in training and maintaining lab operational procedures, processes, and specifications. Provide area guidance on test processes, equipment, and preventive maintenance. Support program development, track and document test results, and manage qualification scheduling. Collaborate with equipment engineers to implement changes that improve efficiency and equipment operations. Guide engineers and technicians and complete performance management activities. Participate actively in engineering, planning, and QA meetings. Collaborate with other groups to achieve strategic business plans, goals, and budgets. Assist in headcount planning. Ensure high level of communication to area techs and engineers of area needs and priorities. Ensure clear communication of area needs and priorities to technicians and engineers. Provide engineering feedback on qualifications, HVM program release decisions, and acceptable product grades (e.g., TP, PR, PG). Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Possesses 1-3 years of leadership experience in electrical engineering, data analysis, or semiconductor manufacturing. Demonstrates working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and applications. Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and/or Perl. Knowledgeable in relational database systems including MSSQL and MySQL. Solid understanding of electronic and electrical circuit concepts, including digital systems and logic, transistor functionality, and analog circuit design. Experienced in using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Familiar with fundamental algorithms and programming data structures. Capable of managing multiple tasks, organizing workload, and meeting strict deadlines under pressure without compromising quality. Strong skills in listening, motivation, interpersonal communication, and time management. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. High attention to detail with the ability to deliver precise work and suggest corrective actions for identified issues or risks. Self-motivated, proactive, and driven.
