- Responsible to manage & coordinate program activities; Ensure successful program to meet internal / external customer goals and standards.
- Lead and direct cross functional team in program execution.
- Ensure proper qualification of new projects and successful implementation of programs in production.
- Track and monitor project progress to ensure project schedules and cost objectives are meet.
- Actively follow-on new project development
- Create BOM and maintain BOM in ERP system.
- Manage ECN and BOM updates in ERP system (K3).
- Data collection and analysis to refine and improve BOMs accuracy.
- Liaise with customer to understand customer’s requirements, timeline for NPI.
- New program or ECN management and coordination to deliver NPI according to customer’s requirement and timeline.
- Coordinate with subcon, tool maker, purchasing, production etc for NPI preparation and execution.
- Plan, update Gantt chart and monitor NPI builds to ensure NPI timeline meet.
- Lead and track all NPIs builds/mold trials issues, follow up and close systematically.
- Prepare, review and consolidate PPAP / First Article Reports for customer’s approval.
- Any other adhoc task which require time by time.
- Education or Formal Training: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or professional cert in mechanical / electrical / manufacturing.
- Experience Required: Plastic Injection Moulding working experience is A MUST. Experience fabrication or manufacturing sector.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia & English fluently (oral & written).
- Required skill: Microsoft
- Knowledge: Mechanical drawings, CAD / CAM, BOM, ERP system, program management, QC tools, IATF16949, APQP, FMEA, CP, FAI, Cp / Cpk, 4M, NPI.
- Good communication skills internally and externally (co-workers, customer, supplier)
- Good knowledge of project management & production process
