Visit us at Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Struts Developer with 3+ years of experience in the banking industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Struts framework, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, and SQL, along with experience in developing and maintaining banking applications. The role involves working on mission-critical banking systems, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain banking applications using Java and Struts framework. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze banking requirements. Develop and optimize backend services using Java EE, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, and Spring. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards. Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning for Struts-based applications. Work on RESTful/SOAP web services to integrate with third-party banking systems. Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimizations for banking transactions. Participate in the SDLC process, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of banking applications. Document technical specifications and provide training to junior developers when necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Struts framework and Apache Struts. Strong understanding of J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, and Spring. Experience with database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL queries. Knowledge of banking industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with web services (REST/SOAP), XML, and JSON. Experience with Git, SVN, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with banking transaction processing, payment gateways, and API integrations. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in modernizing legacy banking applications. Knowledge of Microservices, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular) is a plus.
