Ideally, the candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in AIX IBM technologies.
Provide Level 3 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on IBM AIX systems.
Perform system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX servers.
Proficient in virtualization technologies such as PowerVM, SR-IOV, SEA, PowerVM Virtual I/O Server (VIOS), etc
Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems into the overall IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation related to AIX systems and configurations.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
Identify and implement security measures to protect AIX systems from potential threats.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in AIX and related technologies.
Experience in managing complex AIX environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Specialist - Power Systems or IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems, are a plus.
