The Key Account Executive plays a key role in driving sales growth by promoting and selling the company's range of innovative building materials. The role involves handling customer inquiries, conducting product presentations, developing client relationships, sourcing new business opportunities and participating in events and trade shows. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a passion for sales in the building materials or construction industry. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the sales activities and growth of the company's range of products. Attending sales enquiries, furnishing product information to customers. Conduct product briefing to direct customers, main contractor and fabricator. Liaise and negotiate with clients on all technical aspects of the project. Product presentation to customers via face to face or online. Maintain good relationships with customers by identifying customers' needs and developing appropriate sales strategies to meet their needs. Arranging site visits, follow up with prospects until closing of sales. Responsible for sourcing new business opportunities. Prepare sales forecasts and reports for meetings. Able to meet targets and work independently. Attending and supporting internal events organized by in-house marketing teams or external events such as trade shows, launching of products, etc is a must. To close deals/sales during in-house events. Account opening with new and existing customers. Qualifications & Experiences Needed Candidates must possess at least formal higher education (Diploma). Preferably experience in specifying Building Materials Sales products. At least 1 year of experience in sales. Familiar with B2C will be an added advantage. An energetic, positive attitude with a desire to add value to the business. Customer focus with a high level of initiative. Good communication skills. Team oriented. Able to travel and possess own transportation. Microsoft Office skills. Motivated self-starter with good time management skills. Must be customer focused and friendly.
