- Define and lead the regional growth strategy for Penang and Northern Malaysia in alignment with Turner & Townsend Malaysia's business plan and Southeast Asia priorities.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new opportunities in technology, industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, data centres, and other high-growth sectors.
- Own revenue targets for the Penang hub and drive sustainable business performance year-on-year, measured against financial, operational, and talent KPIs.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders in the region.
- Lead and support major pursuits, proposals, and framework opportunities in coordination with Sector Leads and regional pursuit teams.
- Represent Turner & Townsend at client engagements, industry events, and stakeholder forums, positioning the firm as the consultancy of choice in Northern Malaysia.
- Recruit, grow and retain a high-performing team of project and cost management professionals aligned with Turner & Townsend's global standards and values.
- Build a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, continuous learning, and leadership development.
- Champion inclusion and diversity and contribute to building a sustainable pipeline of local leadership talent.
- Oversee the consistent delivery of projects and commissions to the highest standards of quality, governance, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct delivery assurance reviews and act as a senior escalation point for key accounts and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management, legal, financial, and health & safety standards
- Malaysia Sector Leads to deliver sector-aligned solutions in the Penang market
- Project and Cost Management P&L Leaders to optimise delivery models and build scalable delivery teams
- Asia regional leadership to leverage cross-border knowledge, innovation, and digital tools for client success
- Champion the integration of our CBRE partnership capabilities where relevant, bringing enterprise-wide solutions to clients.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in project and/or construction management, with demonstrated success in delivering large-scale projects in industrial, high-tech, science, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end interfaces, high level sequencing and integrated design management.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in P&L responsibility, business development, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of the Northern Malaysia construction and development landscape, particularly Penang and surrounding areas.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and lead teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, business management, or related disciplines.
