The role requires you to be finance personnel in charge of the company's expansion plan where you would be involved in the CAPEX and fixed assets and thus prior experience working in a project environment would be favourable. You will be reporting to the Finance Director.This role would require you to:

Review and assess the project budget, including fee structures
Analyze outgoing expenses to ensure the project progresses within the allocated budget
Manage costs and report variances between budgeted and actual costs
Monitor project cash flows and collaborate with the Treasury Team on banking facility utilization
Provide the Project Team with timely financial reports, actual costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
Support the project team in checking and drafting contracts with suppliers, negotiating payment terms, and securing discounts
Advise the Project Team on tax matters and handle applications for MIDA/MITI tax incentives/grants from government authorities
Liaise with tax agents, consultants, advisers, lawyers, and company secretary
Obtain approval for supplier invoices, process them for posting and payments, and handle provision and accrual journal entries
Manage and track all supplier invoices, ensuring completeness and investigating project expenses with no supplier invoices

Possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting in a Project-based environment
Must have Manufacturing experience
Prior experience with Ms Dynamics AX system would be an added advantage
Detailed-oriented, meticulous, dependable, independent, and a good team player
