Job Location On-site Georgetown, Penang. Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in managing full sets of accounts, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support business goals and improve financial performance Job Scope Financial Account Management Manage the financial accounts for multiple entities within the group. Full Set of Accounts Handle and maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Financial Reporting & Analysis Generate timely and accurate financial reports. Interpret financial data and trends and provide actionable recommendations to management for informed decision-making. Performance & Cost Analysis Analyze and compare costs, pricing, variable contributions, and sales performance. Evaluate the company's actual results against business plans and forecasts. Process Improvement & Internal Controls Review and evaluate current business processes regularly. Identify cost-reduction opportunities and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls. Budgeting & Planning Collaborate with various departments to manage the annual budgeting process. Participate in discussions to align financial planning with business objectives. Inventory Management Conduct inventory checks and assist in enhancing the inventory control system to ensure accurate stock tracking and valuation. External Liaison Communicate and coordinate with external parties such as auditors, bankers, and company secretarial services to ensure timely and effective financial compliance. Singapore GST Reporting Preparation and timely submission of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Government Grant Administration Processing of Singapore government grant applications and manage related financial documentation and submissions. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting. A Diploma in Accounting (LCCI) or equivalent or a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required. Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) is an added advantage. Proven experience in both cost accounting and management accounting is essential. Proficient in managing a full set of accounts independently. Working knowledge of AutoCount or SAP accounting software is an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and collaborate effectively. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently. A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in leading and supervising a team is a plus. Show more Show less
