Job Description: Develop, modify, and optimize SMT programs for pick-and-place machines. Operate, set up, and maintain SMT machines, reflow ovens, SPI, and AOI systems. Convert PCB design files (Gerber, ODB++) into machine programs. Set up and fine-tune SMT programs for efficient component placement and minimal errors. Monitor and optimize SMT production processes to reduce defects and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve common SMT defects (e.g., tombstoning, bridging, solder voids, misalignment). Troubleshoot programming issues, including fiducial recognition, component misalignment, and feeder setup. Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of SMT equipment. Support new product introduction (NPI) and process improvements. Maintain production logs and machine settings for traceability. Maintain accurate documentation of SMT programs and revisions. Job Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in SMT process engineering or SMT equipment maintenance. Experience with SMT programming software (Fuji Flexa, Panasonic PanaCIM, ASM SIPLACE, JUKI IS, etc.). Strong knowledge of reflow soldering, stencil printing, and component placement. Hands-on experience with SMT troubleshooting and defect analysis. Familiarity with IPC-610 and SMT quality standards. Ability to analyze and improve SMT production processes. Show more Show less
