We are seeking a proactive and experienced Data Center Security Manager to lead the security operations for our data center in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale security management, a deep understanding of physical security technologies, and a proven ability to manage incident response. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of security and operational integrity, protecting our critical infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in our security posture. Key Responsibilities Incident Response & Management: Lead the real-time response, handling, and resolution of all security alarms and incidents at our data centers to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations. Security Assessment & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive security assessments and business research to identify vulnerabilities. Proactively optimize critical security control points and drive the systematic development and implementation of our data center security management system. Auditing & Compliance: Perform regular security inspections and audits to identify vulnerabilities and systemic flaws. Develop and implement security management strategies to resolve identified issues and enhance the overall security framework. Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the data center security management framework to enhance and standardize security practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote the implementation and ongoing operation of security systems, elevating the overall standardization of data center security management. Basic Qualifications A minimum of five years of experience managing and operating physical security systems in large data centers or enterprise environments. Proven expertise in technical research and solution design for physical security systems, with a deep understanding of data center security principles and an ability to evaluate new technologies. Demonstrated experience in responding to large-scale security incidents. Experience with Red Team exercises is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to identify root causes and develop effective, long-term solutions for complex issues. Strong communication and coordination skills, a high degree of initiative, a sense of ownership, and a collaborative team spirit.
