THE OPPORTUNITYOur client operates under a unique business model in the Australian insurance market. A Not-for-Profit underwriting agency dedicated to insuring Non-Profits organizations, passionate about giving back to the community. Established in 2014, they have since grown to providing insurance to around 4,000 Not for Profits across Australia and more than AUD$11 million in annual premiums. Our partner here has been voted as the best underwriting agency on providing solutions to Not-for-Profit clients, for the Ninth consecutive year.They are currently looking for a Broker and Client Service Consultant to join their cause and be part of the growing team to support their Australian underwriting business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.ASW Global operates on a Hybrid model. During the first 1 month of training, you will be required to work full-time onsite. After this period, depending on the performance, the role will transition to a hybrid model of being onsite once a month, with a regular shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM KL time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Answering phones and responding to client and broker emails.
  • Analyzing current and past underwriting data across the organization.
  • Preparation of client files for renewals and claims.
  • Production of certificates of currency.
  • Pre-populating and /or processing of client and policy information in the underwriting system for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Managing the claims process from claims lodgments, broker and client communication, insurer follow-up.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Insurance / Claims Processing.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation, ethics and phone manner.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
