The Applications Specialist plays a pivotal role in the ZOOK's success by providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the application of products. Working closely with the engineering, sales, and customer service teams, the specialist ensures that products are effectively integrated and utilized in various applications. Rupture disc expertise, a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences are crucial for this role.This role presents a chance to join and shape a new ZOOK team.Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers regarding the application of our products, including installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Product Integration: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and assist in the integration of our products into their systems or processes.
Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and technical documentation to educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
Product Certification and Standards: Be aware of the relevant standards and codes
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product enhancements or modifications based on customer feedback and market trends.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication, responsiveness, and proactive support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and customer service teams to address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and drive product improvements.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
5-7 years’ experience in a technical support or applications engineering role, preferably in the engineering/manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of rupture disc application is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, training sessions, and industry events.
