Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, this role will be supporting the development and execution of all communication and branding efforts of AIA Shared Services. This role is responsible for writing, creating and designing communications content, organizing internal engagement events and collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as external agencies to ensure the success of communication campaigns and activities. The incumbent is expected to be a strategic problem solver and people person with attention to detail, creative flair, resourcefulness, and ability to work well under pressure.Manage internal communication channels : crafting, composing, and proofreading engaging digital content for internal email blasts, intranet articles, and social media posts, ensuring it's concise, relatable and visually appealingSupervise social media channels to identify trends, opportunities and potential issues, and provide timely updates and analysis to the Senior ManagerAssist in developing creative and engaging multimedia content, including videos, infographics and presentations for internal and external audiences using design tools such as CanvaSupport in the planning, coordination and managing of internal engagement events, both virtual and on-site for initiatives under our Wellness programs, Corporate Social Responsibility and the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), strategic engagement sessions between employees & General Manager, etc.Collaborate with teams i.e. Talent Acquisition team, Sports and Social Club to build strong content around employer and leadership branding to communicate positive, compelling storiesStay updated on industry standard processes, emerging trends, and new technologies in internal communications and provide insights, propose ideas and recommendations to improve communication effectiveness and efficiency and on how to improve the way we work. Monitor employee feedback and sentiment through surveys, focus groups and other feedback mechanisms.Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational/strategic/communication & branding objectivesJob Requirements :Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing or related field & minimum 5 years in relevant work experience with exposure in Corporate Communications / Public Relations / Event ManagementA passion for writing, communications and branding, with positive, enthusiastic and confident attitudeExcellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable and proficient in Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools – Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, MS TeamsExperience in crafting and delivering a range of impactful content e.g. articles, social media contents, websites, newsletters, videos. Proficiency in media content creation tools will be an added advantage (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video production tools)Have great teamwork with strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to identify, communicate and resolve problems with tact and logicVery resourceful, meticulous and proactive.
