Role Description We are looking for a visionary, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join Next Chapter Consultancy Sdn Bhd at a critical and exciting stage of our growth. As a newly established company, we are building strong foundations in mental health consultancy, corporate wellness, and strategic advisory. This is a unique opportunity for someone bold enough to take a leap with us and play a key role in shaping our financial future. Compensation Structure: For the initial 9 to 12 months, this role will be equity-based-no fixed salary will be paid during this period. Instead, the selected individual will be allocated company shares as part of the founding team. Once the company achieves solid footing in terms of sales and financial stability, we will revisit and negotiate a competitive salary package. This is a strategic and entrepreneurial role for someone who believes in building something meaningful and is willing to invest their time and skills for long-term rewards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth goals. Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and risk management. Build strong systems for budgeting, internal controls, and reporting. Drive fundraising and investment efforts, if required. Provide sound financial insights to support business decisions and expansion plans. Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and leadership team. Who We're Looking For: Someone with 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or investment, preferably at a senior level. Strong understanding of start-up dynamics and corporate finance.
