Key focus on electrical design and hands on support for electrical system, especially in maintenance & switching for HT up to 132KV.
Support REO managers on all Electrical project activities.
Work within REO team and be involved in all aspects of projects from design, construction, commissioning and start-up.
Review technical inquiries and tender document.
Participate in design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of electrical projects and Hook Up.
Take part in project planning and scheduling.
Other work assignments from the department when needed.
Shall inspect the installation and shall record and direct all findings, recommendations to the Energy Commission and management as the case.
Competent Electrical Engineer being aware of any defect in the installation or any equipment therein which is likely to cause danger shall forthwith inform the management, to make good or remove the defects, and make a report immediately to the Commission.
Technical supervision and Site Coordination of electrical projects.
Knowledge of GIS Systems
Supervise for testing and commissioning of Power Transformers, Gas Insulated Switchgears, and LVAC.
Monitoring electrical consumption and prepare report.
Carry out switching for any 132KV tripping of switchgear.

Qualifications

Competent Electrical Engineer & registered under Energy Commission Malaysia
Min. Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering
Min 3 years of relevant experience
