- Prepare/ review daily operational funding and the voluminous transactions in online banking system and/or SAP for all AIAMY entities according to internal Cash Management Standard Operating Procedures prior to the approval by the authorised signatories to meet the respective Bank's cut off time
- Monitor daily funding activities and balances to ensure sufficient funds to meet financial obligations and ensure any unusual items are investigated
- Check and confirm on-time completion of all initiated transactions in online banking system and/or SAP after authorised signatory approvals. Immediately follow-up on all outstanding transactions
- Verify and post all treasury related journals for posting into SAP timely and accurately
- Check and verify intra-company and inter-company fund transfers initiated in online banking system and/or SAP
- Take lead in the streamlining exercises and management of the current accounts, including cash management set-up documentation for new and modifications of existing accounts for Manager’s sign-off
- Prepare/ review the banking documentations inclusive of the treasury related board resolution, banking mandate, and user profile relating to the access matrix of the authorized signatories of the massive amount of the operating bank accounts in the respective online banking portal and various letters of instruction including KYC exercises to banks for Manager’s sign-off.
- Prepare/ review the treasury related board paper for Manager/ superior's review
- Prepare/ review the maintenance request relating to the bank guarantees for all AIAMY entities for Manager's sign-off
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on the establishment and management of the credit facility, preparation and/ or review of the cash flow forecast, liquidity management, for AIA Malaysia entities
- Liaise with bankers and relevant internal and external stakeholders on related matters to drive continuous cash management efficiencies
- Ensure efficiency and compliance to the industry regulatory and compliance requirements over the treasury processes and activities
- Ensure compliance of Finance processes and initiate continuous improvement and automation to existing processes or workflows
- Assist Manager with project assignments and financial reporting relating to Treasury and Cash Management
- Assist in UAT (user acceptance testing) for any system enhancement relating to cash management process
- Take lead on regular bank and internal service agreements across all AIAMY entities for Manager’s review and sign-off
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Manager/ superior from time to time to meet internal and external stakeholders’ request, not limited to external auditors, bankers, Company Secretary, Legal and other business unit request
- Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years working experience in cash management functions in multinational corporation.
- Good SAP knowledge and experience is value added.
- Experienced in banking account and documentations management with good understanding in treasury and cash management processes
- Good command of English, both written and oral
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision, take accountability, proactive and good organization skills
- Possess good analytical, meticulous, problem-solving skills and meeting tight deadlines in a fast pace and challenging environment
