- Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Analyse sales data to generate accurate demand forecasts, align sales targets with merchandising teams, and create rolling 18-month forecasts based on specific parameters.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales & operations, marketing, and supply planners to gather input for demand planning and ensure alignment of sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Synchronize demand forecasts with inventory targets to consistently achieve optimal inventory levels.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning
- Risk Mitigation and Contingency Planning: Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain relevant reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and urgent order rates.
- Forecast Alignment and Insights: Present forecast to management, provide strategic insights on unconstraint demand, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify trends, track ad hoc promotions, consolidate data to determine net demand, and make allocation decisions for promotions.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply planners to ensure alignment of demand plans.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on forecast accuracy and inventory levels. * Technical Competencies:Demand Planning Software: Proficiency in using demand planning tools and software.
Data Analysis Tools: Expertise in tools like Excel, SAP, and other data analysis tools.
