This role is critical in aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives by leveraging global campaigns, ensuring seamless lead progression throughout the pipeline.You will be responsible for analysing account behaviour, supporting sales outbound activities, and executing bespoke events to engage high-priority accounts and accelerate deal velocity. The role requires a strategic mindset, a data-oriented approach, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.This role is pivotal in driving pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue growth by aligning marketing efforts with sales teams to engage high-priority accounts and convert opportunities into customers.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & CollaborationPartner with field sales to develop territory- and account-level marketing plans that drive pipeline generation and accelerationAlign closely with sales, technical, and business strategy teams to ensure unified messaging and measurable outcomesCollaborate with global and regional demand generation teams to integrate ABM efforts with broader campaignsEvent Planning & ExecutionDesign and execute high-impact in-person and virtual events (e.g., roundtables, roadshows, account-specific engagements) to deepen relationships and accelerate deal velocityProvide on-site support for partner and customer-facing events, particularly in Malaysia and the PhilippinesEnsure flawless execution through strong project management and attention to detail across logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordinationSales Enablement & Lead ManagementImplement structured follow-up processes for all generated leads, including outreach strategies and appointment settingEquip sales teams with tailored content and insights to support outbound efforts and improve conversion ratesData Analysis & InsightsAnalyze account behavior, engagement signals, and intent data to inform marketing strategies and sales outreachTrack and report on key metrics such as pipeline influenced, deal velocity, and revenue contribution.Continuously refine programs based on performance data to maximize ROIBudget & Vendor ManagementManage marketing budgets with discipline and transparency to ensure optimal resource allocationOversee vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services aligned with campaign goalsProvide regular performance reporting to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvementQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldMaster’s degree is a plusExperienceMinimum 8 years of B2B marketing experience in the technology sector (SaaS, cloud services, or data center solutions preferred)Proven track record in enterprise-level field marketing within international organizations.Demonstrated success in collaborating with sales teams to drive measurable pipeline impactIndustry KnowledgeDeep understanding of the cloud and data center industry in Malaysia and Southeast AsiaFamiliarity with enterprise buying behavior, especially in regulated sectors like finance and manufacturingAwareness of regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory environmentsSkillsStrategic marketing planning and executionStrong project management and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail in managing budgets, logistics, and reportingProficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua)Experience with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Terminus)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from dataFluency in English; additional regional languages are a plusPersonal AttributesResults-oriented and proactiveSelf-starter with a strategic mindset and a “can-do” attitudeAdaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCollaborative and team-orientedHigh integrity and professionalismInnovative and always looking to push boundariesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
