Job DescriptionThe Role:
  • Immigration Liaison serves as the key contact between company and immigration authorities to facilitate student visa processing.
  • This role involves coordinating and submitting required documentation, following up on application statuses, and ensuring compliance with immigration policies and procedures.
  • The liaison ensures timely communication and resolution of issues, supporting a smooth and efficient visa approval process for international students.
The Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Submission of students' applications/documents that are required by the Immigration Department for the issuance of eVAL.
  • Submission of Students' passports along with the documents that are required by the Immigration Department for the issuance of Student Pass, Special Pass, and Dependent Pass.
  • Accept passports and any additional documents from Institutes.
  • Ensure passports are kept in the safe box while they are in EMGS possession.
  • To vet through the documents using the processing checklist as a guideline.
  • To make sure that STAR System statuses are updated correctly.
  • To be the point of escalation/contact between Immigration Department and Operations.
  • To be the point of contact between Immigration Department and Institutions.
  • Highlight all urgent cases to the Line Manager for further assistance.
  • To seek Line Manager Assistance whenever needed.
  • Highlight any downtime or technical issue to the Line manager for further escalation.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Line Manager or any other Operations Management team as and when required.
  • When operational situations arise, management will require the executive to stay back and complete all assigned duties.
Skill Requirements:
  • Able to read, write and speak English and Malay.
  • Basic Computer knowledge: MS Office (Word, Power Point & Excel).
  • Good multitasking ability.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Willingness to learn and fast learner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Minimum Diploma with prior related working experience (preferably minimum 1 year experience in contact centre,) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Computer knowledge: MS Office (Word, Power Point & Excel)
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Display excellent communication and willingness to learn/fast learner.
  • Able to work as a member of a team independently.

  • Attractive Salary up to RM2500.
