Important Information Location: Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Experience: 8 years Job Mode: Contract Work Mode: On-Site Job Summary Manage strategic and transformation projects and technology implementation throughout the project lifecycle. Identify, document, analyse, challenge internal & external customer requirements (if required), to ensure the project meets business needs / strategic aims. Undertake detailed project planning & documentation (defining project deliverables, success criteria, benefits management, dependencies, change control, risk management) including escalating risks and issues as required. Ensure Transformation objectives and deadlines are met in line with defined Project charter. Ensure compliant with project governance and standards as stipulated in the PMO Governance Framework. Communicate the roles and responsibilities defined in the project organization structure. Resolution of issues and mitigation of risks without compromising the timeline. Responsibilities & Duties At least 8 years of experience in managing IT projects and system implementation / enhancement, with at least 3 full lifecycle of system implementation. Technical project management skills, preferably with experience in managing transformation projects related to Core Insurance system (AS400), insurance products launch, Insurance Point-of-Sales systems (POS), Agent/Customer/Claim Portal, Corporate Websites and Data Lake. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Professional certification in project management is preferred, but certified PMP and/or certified Scrum Master is added advantage. Experience in managing at least 5 full-time team members, excluding the implementation vendor. Proven ability to develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives will be an added advantage Practical knowledge in project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban. Advisory skills including ability to analyse, trouble-shoot, support, challenge and advise other project and program managers. Interpersonal skills and relationship management, including ability to engage, communicate with, influence and negotiate with senior management and stakeholders Team management.
