Architectural Draughtsperson

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on architectural designs, sketches, and specifications provided. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques to produce drawings that are structurally sound, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Documentation and Review: Prepare and maintain documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, throughout the design and construction phases. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborative Work: Collaborate with other professionals to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints. Communicate effectively to ensure that drawings meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that drawings adhere to established drafting standards, best practices, and quality control procedures. Verify dimensions, annotations, and other technical details to minimize errors and inconsistencies.

• Strong technical drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and construction standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project requirements.
• Prior experience in architectural drafting or related field may be preferred.
• Certification, Diploma or Degree in drafting, architecture and building studies, landscape architecture or interior design is typically requiered.
