Job Responsibility Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer proficient in MySQL, JBoss, Middleware, Linux, and Ansible to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient systems, with a specific focus on middleware technologies. This role requires expertise in database and application server technologies, Linux administration, Ansible automation, and middleware platforms. Key Responsibilities Database and Application Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers. Implement and manage database security and access controls. Perform database monitoring, tuning, and optimization for performance. Install, configure, and maintain JBoss application server instances. Ensure the availability and reliability of JBoss applications. Implement security measures and access controls for the JBoss environment. Middleware Management Install, configure, and manage middleware platforms to facilitate communication and integration between applications (Jboss EAP, Apache, Tomcat). Ensure the stability and performance of middleware components. Implement security measures and access controls for middleware environments. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of applications with middleware. Linux Administration Administer and maintain Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve Linux-related issues promptly. Implement security measures, including access controls and regular patching. Collaborate with other teams to integrate Linux seamlessly into the overall system architecture. Automation With Ansible Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks. Implement automation tools to streamline routine system administration tasks. Ensure consistency and reliability in system configurations through Ansible automation. System Integration Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to integrate MySQL, JBoss, Middleware, and Linux into the overall system architecture. Implement data replication and backup strategies for MySQL databases. Configure and manage connectivity between JBoss applications, MySQL databases, Middleware, and Linux servers. Security And Compliance Ensure that systems comply with security policies and standards. Implement security patches and updates in a timely manner. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments for MySQL, JBoss, Middleware, and Linux. Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Train and support other team members on best practices and procedures. Collaboration And Communication Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to convey complex concepts and solutions. Continuous Improvement Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to optimize system performance. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a System Engineer with expertise in MySQL, JBoss EAP, Apache, Tomcat, Middleware, Linux, and Ansible. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation. Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
