
Logistics Manager

- Plan, manage, and coordinate the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations (aircraft spares, ground support equipment).
- Ensure compliance with CAAM and other relevant aviation regulations.
- Oversee warehousing, distribution, transportation, and inventory management activities.
- Manage procurement and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) teams for timely delivery of aviation parts and equipment.
- Lead logistics service provider relationships and contract negotiations.
- Analyze logistics KPIs and identify areas for cost-saving and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics/warehouse issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain contingency plans for disruptions (e.g., flight delays, customs clearance issues).
- Ensure import/export compliance and liaise with Malaysian Customs and other government agencies.
- Manage and mentor logistics staff and ensure continuous training and development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Engineering or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., APICS, IATA Logistics & Transport Management) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Aviation logistics regulations and processes (especially CAAM and ATA procedures).
- Proficient in logistics software (SAP, ERP systems, WMS).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced operational environment
- Minimum 5-7 years of logistics experience, preferably in the aviation or airline industry.
- Solid understanding of aviation-related logistics operations in Malaysia
- Advantage if with AS9110, AS9120, Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), EASA Part 145, FAA 14 CFR Part 145, FAA/RSQCM
