Senior Executive, Family Underwriting

• Assist in key company projects on 1STMAB and Kaotim by contributing to requirements gathering, business process improvements, change management, quality assurance, application/system configuration, and end-to-end testing to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide comprehensive support for new product launches, including managing business requirements, preparing underwriting-related document (e.g., forms, questionnaires, endorsements/exclusion caluses), setting up product parameters in the core system, conducting UAT, and ensuring timely completion within set deadlines.
• Participate in project enhancements by preparing relevant process documentation (e.g., workflows, SOPs, User Guides), delivering user training sessions, and complying with reporting requirements.
• Support production cases and ensure processing within the turnaround time upon receipt of complete documentation, when required.
• Continuously review and assess existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement that align with business and customer needs, as directed by the Head of Department.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the team leader or department heads.

• Degree holder in related field.
• At least 6 year-experience in Life Insurance Company and/or Takaful Operator as underwriter.
• Experience dealing with Banca Sales, Vendor and Medical Provider.
