test and characterize prototype hardware within the product development team. Layout design includes
switch mode power supplies with high transient switching, small signal conditioning with low leakage and
noise, mixed signal, high-speed digital, ADC, DAC & IO interface, clock & PLLs.Typical activities for this job are:

Design and layout PCB boards for test & measurement instrument using Mentor Graphic

Xpedition. * Layout High-Speed digital, smally signal low-noise, low-leakage PCB boards.

Follow in-house design rules and guidelines to ensure the design meeting required specifications.
Develop new rules and guidelines to address new technology and techniques.
Works with System Architect or design-lead to define and optimize board layout to meet

performance requirements. * Works closely with project manager to ensure hardware design meeting the intended systemperformance, project cost and schedule. * Develop test program and system to evaluate and characterize prototype hardware.

Promote good design practice and optimize reusable design block.

Qualifications

Ph.D/Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
Good understanding and experience in product development cycle.
Good knowledge in fundamental analog, mixed signal circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
Good experience in using Mentor Graphics Xpedition or Siemens Xpedition is preferred.
Good experience in using other PCB layout tools will be considered.
Good working knowledge in programming and scripting skills
Demonstrate the ability as a good team player, working independently, self-motivated with

consistent drive to improve hardware design and design processes. * Demonstrate leadership skills working with cross discipline teams in product development project.

Good organizational, planning and communication skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Minimum 4 years of PCB layout design experience
