Job description Lead the design and development of complex piping systems, ensuring they meet all relevant technical, safety, and regulatory requirements Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including stress analysis, pipeline routing, and system layout Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate piping systems with other project components Prepare detailed piping drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation Oversee the installation and commissioning of piping systems, providing technical guidance and support to on-site teams Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle Continuously seek to optimise piping system design and performance Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their technical expertiseRequirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the design and engineering of industrial piping systems Proficient in the use of industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar Thorough understanding of piping codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API) Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget Commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentBenefitsAdditional Information
