With a focus on ensuring the security and reliability of our services, we strive to stay ahead of emerging threats and protect our users' data.Get to know the roleWe are seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Development, Automation,Testing and basic understanding of security. As a DevSecOps Engineer, You will have an opportunity to learn and research on Application Security domain.Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the development of backend systems and services using Go Lang and Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Design and implement robust APIs and microservices architecture to support the organization's applications and infrastructure. Also, utilize frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks to create responsive and visually appealing web applications.
Manage and maintain source code repositories using Git, including branching, merging, and version control best practices. Work closely with development teams to ensure code quality, consistency, and collaboration across projects.
Apply DevOps principles to automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Utilize continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to accelerate the delivery of software releases while maintaining code integrity and security.
Integrate security practices into the development workflow, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and security testing. Evaluate/extend/contribute to existing open-source security tools and integrate them into pipelines.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between frontend and backend systems. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality and interoperability of the organization's applications.
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in backend development, frontend development, and DevOps. Pursue opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement to support career growth and contribute to the organization's success.
Timely delivery of high quality, maintainable, and operationally excellent code.

QualificationsThe Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of Developer Experience - with strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures .
Demonstrated expertise in backend development using GoLang and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Proficient in Git and source code management, including branching, merging, and version control best practices, to effectively collaborate with development teams and maintain code integrity.
Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD), to automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
Proficiency in testing methodologies and frameworks, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of backend and frontend code.

The Nice-to-Haves:

Good experience in frontend development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, with the ability to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces. Experience in working with web UI is a plus.
Good understanding of security principles and best practices, with the ability to integrate security measures into the development workflow and address potential vulnerabilities in backend and frontend code.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
