• Carry out effective, efficient fault finding and problem resolution to root cause where possible on a wide range of complex systems in a continuous process environment so that they maintain the plant to deliver the target operating efficiencies.
• To support the Engineering group by following all financial control procedures so that the Engineering Team has an accurate and up-to-date picture of current spend vs. budget.
• Actively engaging in plant continue improvement (CI) activities.
• Support the Engineering Manager in keeping the Site, buildings and fabric, physical infrastructure, and Manufacturing and Assembly assets and equipment, in a well-maintained and safe condition by reporting issues and carrying out remedial repairs where possible.
• Design and review the preventive maintenance program associated with an automation system.
• Ensure effective utilization of the day control technician who will report to you directly and the shift electrical & control technician indirectly.
• Troubleshooting & rectification of any control/automation-related problems.
• Improvement of any control/automation-related problems.
• Establish, review & improve preventive maintenance programs for all machinery.
• Establish, review & improve LOTO for all machinery.
• Establish/Review spare parts quantity and availability.
• Work with maintenance engineers for closing work orders on timely basis
• Ensure useful information has been entered into the SAP system.
• Provide training to other staff.
• Work/liaise with Maintenance engineers for manpower

• At least 5 - 10 years of experience in Logistics, Warehouse Management etc
• Degree in Supply Chain Management / Degree in Logistics & Transportation etc.
• Experience with a large industrial company preferred as a similar position
• Experience with sea freight and container logistics is required
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a strong plus
• Experience with SAP tools

• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team, work within datelines
