JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop and implement the core systems. Ensure applications are optimized for maximum speed and scalability. Front End developers Work closely with back-end developers and designers to improve usability and user interface. Back-End developers Work closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Work closely with Business Analyst and Quality Assurance on requirements and quality. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Identify and fix bugs to ensure high-performance and responsiveness. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Manage the integration of the Core system with other applications and services. Monitor the performance and stability of the Core system, addressing any issues promptly. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the Core system. Identify and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operation. JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Malaysian citizen. Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level. Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field recognized by the government from any local or abroad higher learning institution. Have more than 3 years of experience in Front End or Back End as system developer in banking industries and preferably with Silverlake Branch Delivery System and/or Silverlake Core Banking System. Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or relevant functional testing certifications can be advantageous. Technical Skills: Front End: Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Front END - VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS scripting, Java Script, VB Script, C# and MS SQL Server and frameworks like Angular or React. Knowledge of SQL and database management. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Back End: Proficiency in SQL, AS400 platform and RPG language for core system. Knowledge of database management and optimization. Knowledge in online/batch system. Familiarity with version control like ALDON Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities - ability to analyze system specifications to ensure a seamless user experience and smooth operation of the core system. Attention to Detail - Meticulous in reviewing code and design elements to ensure accuracy and consistency. Proficiency in data analysis and generating actionable insights. User Experience (UX) Analysis - Understanding user behavior and feedback to improve the usability and functionality of the application.
