About CARSOMEWe are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the engineering team at CARSOME Capital. You'll be working at the intersection of finance and technology, contributing to mission-critical backend systems that support auto financing, risk evaluation, and platform scalability.Your Know-How● Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.● 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.● Proficiency in PHP and (Python or Node.js), JavaScript, TypeScript.● Strong expertise in Vue.js for frontend development.● Experience with React.js is a plus.● Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).● Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and MVC frameworks (Yii or Laravel).● Knowledge of Apache SOLR or Elasticsearch for search functionality is a plus.● Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems.● Exposure to test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and version control (Git).● Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.● Passion for innovation, scalability, and high-performance web applications.Your Day-to-Day● Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality, scalable web applications.● Work with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and Designers to deliver new features.● Build efficient, reusable, and scalable backend services and APIs.● Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js, ensuring an excellent user experience.● Ensure code quality through code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.● Maintain existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.● Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.● Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes.● Mentor and guide junior developers in adopting best practices and coding standards.● Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
