As the Brand Manager (Retail), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the company while leading teams to achieve business objectives. You will oversee all aspects of our operations to ensure profitability, growth, and brand success. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic plans to drive business growth, overseeing daily operations, developing product assortments that align with current trends, creating sales and marketing strategies, leading your team towards success, managing finances effectively, enhancing customer experience at every touchpoint, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, and conducting regular market research.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail stores, including inventory management and staff scheduling
- Collaborate with teams to develop a diverse product assortment that aligns with current fashion trends
- Develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximise sales revenue across all channels
- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team of retail staff and managers
- Manage financial budgets and cash flow to ensure profitability
- Champion a culture of exceptional customer service across all touchpoints
- Cultivate strong relationships with landlords, vendors, suppliers, and business partners
- Conduct regular market research to identify fashion influences and competitive threats
The ideal Brand Manager (Retail) will bring a wealth of experience in retail management within the retail industry. You have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. You possess exceptional communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional results, excellent analytical abilities with a keen understanding of market dynamics, solid financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills, and creative thinking with a passion for innovation in product development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of eight years' in brand or general management within the retail fashion industry
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional results
- Excellent analytical abilities with understanding of market dynamics
- Solid financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
