- Optimize Test Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive test plans, balancing test time, yield, and quality to achieve aggressive goals in high-volume manufacturing environments. Identify the most cost-effective testing methods through troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and Collaborate on Engineering Solutions: Co-lead the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions to meet project requirements. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Champion Innovation and Cost Efficiency: Partner with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge testing technologies and elevate existing practices. Conduct research and champion the adoption of cost-saving solutions like Test Time Reduction (TTR) and new test platform enablement, driving CAPEX reduction through innovative test strategies.
- Technical Expertise and Support: Provide technical leadership and expert support in electrical failure analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Address issues related to RMAs, production, reliability, and DPPM (Defects Per Million Parts) improvement.
- Technical Communication and Documentation: Develop and deliver clear, concise technical reports and documentation, including electrical failure analysis work instructions, test equipment guidelines, test reports, and specifications.
- NPI (New Product Introduction) Support: Actively participate in NPI projects, ensuring a smooth transfer of test technology from the mother site to mass production.
- Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Conduct technical training sessions for junior engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge transfer and team development.
- Degree or master’s in electrical & electronic Engineering, with minimum 3 years’ experience in semiconductor product or test engineering.
- Proficient in problem solving methodologies (FMEA, DMAIC, Fish bone diagram), SPC/SBL/SYL and familiar with Flip Chip technology.
- Good understanding of Non-Volatile Memory and DC/functional testing methods.
- Good understanding and experience in Universal Flash Storage Protocol Testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experienced using ATE for testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Good Python, SQL, C++ and Java skill is an added advantage.
- Experience in handling automotive product lines and achieving VDA certification is a plus.
