
Commercial Contract Negotiator

- Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Drafting and Review: Prepare, review, and edit contracts, including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), service agreements, purchase orders, and licensing agreements.
- Risk Assessment: Analyze contract terms, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Formal qualification as a lawyer is not strictly necessary; this role is open to Paralegals, legal managers or experienced negotiators with strong commercial contract review and management experience.
- 2-6 years of experience in negotiating commercial contracts and NDAs
- Degree in Law
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
- Familiarity with NDA and confidentiality agreements reviews and negotiations.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience of handling and reviewing commercial arrangements with cross-border Asia application
- Experience of working for a bank, private equity or venture capital firm, hedge fund or asset management firm, either in-house or externally as a legal services provider, would be a bonus.
- MNC, conglomerate, international or regional law firm or major company legal experience is preferred
