Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in account management, with a proven track record of effectively managing client accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey financial information to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage client expectations and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
• Experience in business development within an accounting or tax services environment, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
• Must be willing to work full-time at the company's Ipoh location.

• Manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Handle account management tasks, including reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset accounting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, SST, and income tax, and prepare tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies.
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide support to the finance team in various accounting and administrative tasks.
