Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to support the Manufacturing Engineering team with administrative coordination, documentation management, and cross-department communication. The role involves assisting with daily operations, managing consumables and permits, coordinating procurement of supplies and equipment, and supporting onboarding activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Key Responsibilities: Assist supervisors and engineers with daily operational tasks. Support acquisition of consumables and materials. Reserve meeting rooms and equipment when required. Handle mail, documents, and deliveries. Prepare, file, and maintain documentation and version control. Assist in preparing and managing contracts and legal documents. Support work permit applications and internal access processes. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows. Track and manage departmental assets and equipment. Procure office supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
