We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Assistant (AR) to join the Accounts Receivable team at Power Metal & Steel (M) Sdn Bhd. Based in Ulu Tiram, Johor, this full-time role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company&aposs accounts receivable processes. What you&aposll be doing Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers Manage the collection of outstanding payments, including preparing and sending reminders and statements Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies Provide support to the Accounts team with month-end and year-end reporting Assist with the maintenance of the company&aposs accounting records and systems Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective credit control processes Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders What we&aposre looking for At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control Strong numeracy and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) would be an advantage What we offer At Power Metal & Steel (M) Sdn Bhd, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
