Our client is looking for a Test Manager to join a high-growth organization. This is a long-term day rate contract with a view of being extended or becoming permanent for the right candidate. Role: Test Manager Location: Penang Contract Mandatory Skills Experience in testing activities (planning, resources, execution, and reporting) Develop comprehensive test strategy, test plan and approach Drive test meetings during test design & execution to track and resolve testing issues Develop test entrance and exit criteria for each test level and monitor progress to completion Provide overall test summary and recommendation for test go/no go for Go Live Reviews and provides input to the Deployment Plan for defect tracking and testing during stabilization Test Metrics throughout the project lifecycle both required and project specific Job Description : Point of contact for all testing activities (planning, resources, execution, and reporting) for assigned project. Develops comprehensive test strategy, test plan and approach for applicable test milestones for each project / release. Partners with project manager to commit to project deliverables and schedule. Ensures negotiation and scheduling of environments required to support testing deliverables and schedule. Ensures test environment readiness (all applications SAP, EDW, others are available for testing in given window and applications owners agree). Ensures negotiation and scheduling of matrixed resources required to support testing deliverables and schedule. Manage resources and coordinate the tasks of team members and external dependencies to deliver quality test outcomes Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Share / drive understanding of test processes Attends and represent test in weekly project meetings, design reviews, deployment and provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems according to testing perspective. Determines project/test related training needs and arrange training Owns test plans and reports out test status and summaries.
