Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting, tax, and audit processes. The role works closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records, deliver timely reports, and ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage full sets of accounts, company ledgers, and daily financial transactions in compliance with IFRS/MFRS and local regulations. Support month-end closing activities, including balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations. Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and worksheets (e.g., manpower-outsourcing income, maintenance, and license contracts). Handle tax compliance (SST, WHT, CIT), tax audits, and preparation of transfer pricing documentation. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other third parties to ensure timely submission of tax returns and audit completion. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related projects. Support payment processing, billings, bank reconciliations, and other accounting tasks. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior or headquarters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in accounting or audit; experience in multinational or regional operations preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS and local tax regulations. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Proficiency in the Mandarin language will be required as the role will be liaising with colleagues in Shenzhen on a daily basis.
