- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement effective cloud-based solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all systems and data pipelines, leveraging Azure security best practices and monitoring tools.
- Optimize and enhance ETL workflows in Azure Databricks for improved efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement, monitor, and automate data quality checks within Azure Data Factory and Databricks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Support the integration of new data sources, APIs, and third-party platforms into existing Azure-based data solutions.
- Document data engineering processes, pipeline workflows, and technical specifications to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on Azure cloud technologies, Databricks enhancements, and modern ETL frameworks to continuously improve data engineering practices and solutions.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines, preferably within Azure Cloud environments.
- Proficiency in data management tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Spark (within Azure Databricks).
- Strong understanding of cloud-based database systems, data lake architectures, and scalable ETL frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional, agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A continuous learning mindset, staying updated on Azure, Databricks, and modern data engineering trends and best practices.
