Analyst - Fixed Asset

- You will take ownership of daily Fixed Assets transactions and month-end-closing activities and ensure they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP quality standards or any other relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Your area of responsibilities includes:
- Handling Fixed asset end to end process such as asset master data modification, Inter/intra company asset transfer, sales/scrapping of asset, asset capitalization and ensure depreciation captured correctly according to our internal policy as well as ensuring the stability in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Investment Order (IO)/ WBS creation as and when needed, process budget allocation and any ad hoc requests for assets under construction.
- Monthly & quarterly Fixed Assets reports preparation.
- Coordinate with relevant parties in completing Fixed Assets yearly physical count exercise.
- Process impairment or reversal of impairment according to requests.
- Listen actively and continuously focused on stakeholder requests, managing complex and uncertain operational issues, while decisively moving forward in taking ownership of decisions, together with the Fixed Assets Senior Analyst.
- Responsible for internal controls in Fixed Assets accounting, also participating in audits by providing timely and qualitative information and resolve queries from the auditors (where applicable for the assigned countries/legal entities and tasks).
- Continuously update our DTP (Desktop Procedure) documentation and involved in the creation of DTPs for new processes/variances

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or relevant working experience in Fixed Assets Accounting
- Preferably first experiences in the field of Fixed Assets Accounting & Finance Operations
- Good knowledge of accounting and experience in using SAP
- Basic knowledge of IFRS accounting is preferable
- Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
- Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn, to build your skills and capabilities
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent Mandarin is required as this position will support China market
