Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated accounts and financial reports . Supervise and guide the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department, including oversight of a team of accounting staff. Manage all financial and accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements , management reports , budgets , project costing , and financial analysis , in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) , statutory requirements, and standard accounting practices. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of group and project-specific budgets , performing variance analysis to support effective cost control and enhance project efficiency . Oversee cash flow , working capital management , and financing needs , including cash projections, treasury operations, and liaison with financial institutions. Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and regulatory authorities, as well as internal departments . Continuously review and improve accounts & finance processes , ensuring effective implementation of internal controls , policies , and procedures . Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or membership with MIA is an added advantage. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity within the Property Development industry . Strong understanding of project accounting , Housing Development Act (HDA) compliance, and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) reporting requirements. Proficient in accounting software ; experience with IFCA is highly preferred. Demonstrates strong analytical , problem-solving , and leadership capabilities.
